The eastern Sporades
lie on the west coast of Turkey and
belong to the rather sparsely visited
islands of the country.



Island of Limnos
Experts of tourism on the northernmost island of the Sporades say that their island has the nicest sandy beaches of Greece. Those on the neighbouring island Thasos however, claim exactly the same thing! One thing is for sure, Limnos has kept its rural charm since it has far less visitors.
The island of Lesvos
also managed to keep unspoilt. Its wild beauty wants to be discovered. The green island is, with the solitary churches, picturesque villages, secluded bays and small harbours, still an insiders' tip.
Isles of Chios, Icaria, Samos and Phoúrnoi
Also these islands stayed off the drive of tourism, just like Lesvos. The skipper can find many gorgeous creeks and ethnic, fortified small towns.
