The northern Sporades
and Euböa
The northern Sporades
belong to the most beautiful islands of the Aegean and can, because of the mild climate and the ample vegetation, be visited in the summer months without problems. The dazzling white houses harmonise beautifully with the dark blue sea and the green pine trees.
Favourites are of course the two biggest places, Skiathos and Skopelos, with narrow alleys, nested houses and colourful floridity on the many small places, fringed with taverns.
Euböa
is the second island in size after Crete and has a unique natural variety. This very charming island really offers a lot to its visitors; a surrounding with mountains up to 1800 m, fructuous valleys and high plateaus with their villages and monasteries. Not to forget about the sea; deep blue to emerald green it washes around the cliffy coasts as well as to the sandy and pebble beaches with their fishing ports.
