Canale Bianco & Diversivo 

A  waterway for commercial traffic from the Canale Po - Brondolo to the Mincio at Mantua























Canale Bianco, an unknown factor!
This waterway is practically unknown to leisure boaters. It starts at the Canale Po - Brondolo at the lock into the Po and flows shortly before Mantua into the Mincio. There is regular commercial traffic on both ends while the middle part is mostly used by fisherman only. The canal passes through heavily used agricultural landscapes, the town Adria makes a nice change, it can be reached by a side canal which passes through but is not navigable because of low bridges. The Bianco is fed by the Mincio. 

















One doesn't find any idyllic tie ups. The trans-shipment centres for agricultural goods or the waterside at one of the villages offer now and then a possibility for a stop.
