Lago di Garda (Gardasee)
it is not only the biggest lake of Italy but also the lovliest of the big mountain lakes. Its banks are less cliffy then those of its neighbours in the west. The southern character of its shores provides already a Mediterranean atmosphere. This is not always an advantage in high season though!
