Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal
The canal in the south-eastern part of Wales originally ran from Newport to Brecon. The nearly 10 km long section from Newport to the Cymbran locks is no longer navigable.

After Newport a short stretch of the canal is navigable but it has no link to the main canal and none to the River Usk either.
