The Chesterfield Canal 
The waterway begins at Stockwith on the River Trent and ends in Chesterfield. This canal, very popular with skippers and ramblers, is unfortunately only partially navigable at this time. Renovation work is being done for years already and for the time being the isolated stretch between Staveley and Chesterfield was the latest to open up again.
