This information covers the rivers Lee, Bow Back, Old Lee, City Mills, Waterworks and Stort. The dimensions for the River Stort are smaller than indicated. From the Regents resp. Hertford Union Canal in East London, it extends northward to Field’s Weir lock. If one continues straight on, one proceeds on the Lee Navigation to beyond Hertford, while if one branches off to the right after the lock one travels on the Sort Navigation, which continues to beyond Bishop’s Sortford.
