East Coast of Ireland
The southerly part of it is, for its intense settlement and the big commercial ports, not very attractive even though, between the big centres, small beaches can be found from time to time. Further to the north, the coast becomes more lonesome, interrupted by charming, small fishing harbours and then, of course, the capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. Inland, the east coast offers however a lot of attractions like golfing, horse riding etc. For a sailing trip from England or Scotland, it has the advantage to be very close.
